Which area was he flying too? I normally use Qantas when I fly to Brisbane via Sydney but SAA if I'm going to Western Australia.

He hasn't been forthcoming on the actual destination other than Australia. So I haven't pushed for more detail

Seems they cant even organise pilots to fetch some vaccine:

Fin24 was told by a reliable source that the SAA aircraft is still parked on the tarmac and cannot be towed back as it is filled with fuel meant for its flight to Europe, which never took off.
