And on whose 5G network are you going to derive any benefit from the 5G hardware? Not Vodacom or MTN that's for sure.

I'd strongly caution you to spend time in a store with both an S10+ and the S10 5G. The 5G won't have the cutting-edge sheen of the S10+ I'd wager.

I get that these phones are now expensive but they could at least throw in 1GB. Good thing there is WiFi at home and work.

On a serious note though, I'd love to see both the 6.7inch S10 5G and 7.3inch Galaxy Fold in the flesh. The other S10 models are boring to me, these 2 were the show stoppers. I'd love to see the 5G's camera performance.

I would assume if you take out the contract in a store they can attach any contract that you want. Makes no sense for MTN to throw money away if customers want to spend more.

Financing the $1k S10+ for R21.5k is crap value. Those Buds are clearly not free. The case discount isn't even free. What a disappointing price.

If you're that excited for a giant S10 or a foldable one, neither of which possibilities I have an issue with, then just wait until the revised versions next year. They are clearly struggling with the tech still, especially with the prototypish Galaxy Fold.

Absolutely, the Fold is now to foldable devices what the Galaxy Round was back in 2013 to curved screen devices, a sort of public Beta, that may not actually be the final direction of the tech.

Samsung are lucky to have the resources to pull these sort of things off even if they initially make nothing from them.
