Satellite or Wireless solution to upload images from mobile webcam

We purchased a Vodacom 3g Router to upload images from our
Pan/Tilt/Zoom cam mounted on a trailer powered by a 80w solar panel
charging 2 x 12V 110aH batteries. We have found the Linksys
wireless 3G router freezes after a couple of days and then we
have to reboot it sometimes that does not work.
Upgraded to the latest firmware release.
The TZO.com and Dyndns.org Dynamic service also does not update
the dynamic IP address.

Does any one have any experience in the bi-directional satellite mobile solution
will cost mounted on a vehicle. Been looking at BGAN satellite solution

Our image collection server will collect GPS and Images from the mobile cam.

Webcam project a big hit on Garden Route

We normally will have someone provide security or locate in a safe location.
I travel freq into Zambia and Kenya and looking at a satellite solution that we
could use to upload the images as we travel along with the GPS co-ordinates.

Looks like data upload is $6-10 per Megabyte.
