Excellent summary Sneeky! Only one thing wrong, the last statement re somebody turning on the light. You will have to wait for 2013 if you are lucky. However with the expansion rate, maybe 2023 if a lot of other things change ...

I say we should protest. Eskom Load Shedding + Scorpion Disbandment + Coruption + Incompetence + Crime Rate + HIV/AIDS Rate + Telkom ect. ect. should be enough motivation.

Question: Since JS is suspended and SAPS is essentially leaderless, why not do the logical thing: Merge SAPS with the Scorpions?

I must give it to the Scorpions, they have kept their ranks clean, even going after their own who dared cross over.

The heart of the matter: Has SAPS ever gone after a cabinet minister or like? Aye, there is the rub!
