I've just upgrade my k750i to a w800i via firmware hack

Who else has done this?

The media player is better and w800 has a flight mode, which turns off the phone.

Not a hell of alot else really.

I'll try find the URL again for the method I used and post it later.

Mine's Vodacom branded, I tried to get an unbranded version going but didn't work.

So - how do u do this firmware hack - and does it matter if you have the Vodafone branded k750i??? Would really like to try it

Geez, you forgotten what & where you went in 6 hours? Did you do it without paying? I don't see the point in purchasing something which in the eye of the retailer will render it a paperweight if you have a warranty claim.
