Seeking Backend/FullStack developer position

Hi All,

My current company is a small fintech company they have a team of 4 devs (2 senior, myself and another guy). They are retrenching both myself and collegue on the grounds that Claude has improved the seniors' efficiency so much they don't need us. I'm not looking to debate that, just looking for something new. The caveat is that my wife is location-locked in a small town, so I am looking for something remote.

I have +-8 years as a software developer, mainly Java, a variety of items around that. I can send my CV where applicable.

I have signed up on what platforms I can, but I figure the more lines in the water, the better. Please shout, or drop me a PM if you know of anything.

Foreign company? Doubt they can do that with SA labour laws. But I guess it is an environment you don't want to be in anyways. Otherwise, CCMA while job hunting.

They obviously aren't saying that it is Claude. "Modern technologies have increased efficiency..." I'm just saying it like it is.

But the reasoning is beside the point - It is time for something new.
