Send SMS from PC

I am looking for a way to send SMS via PC - I do not want to install hardware, but am willing to pay for the service.

Ideally, something in PHP, using a mail call. So,

mail ($to, $subject, $message, $headers);

would be ideal, with $to = '082*******@vodasms.co.za' for example.

Any ideas?

www.bulksms.com or www.clickatell.com will sort you out.

They have SMTP, FTP, HTTP APIs for you to use.

i think u can send sms if u have a 3g card in your laptop... only guessing cuz my dad lost his phone but managed to sms me off his 3g card number which was in his laptop....
