she hangs...

ok, couple of weeks ago there was a thread or 2 bout systems suddenly just hanging, but on none of those threads did anyone appear to have the solution. ive been running mywireless right from the beginning in feb, with absolutley no problems, 20%signal, never dropped a connection once... extremely satisfied... WELL.. upgraded motherboard chip ram etc, reformated drive, 40mins on phone to microsoft to activate, machine running strong under regular apps and games, but when mywireless running (connected only) sudden and total random system lockups, cant even altcntldelete, reinstalled my wireless couple of times, tried to reinstall everything..... what could it be? its not modem, runs fine at work and anywhere else, just my home machine hangs.
3.0gig p4 winxp pro

Try the registry tweak on my site. Also, check what kind of USB host controller your machine has. If it's an intel PIIX controller, then try get the updated intel drivers for the USB controller. They are known to be a bit buggy.

wow, it works, i think, been stable for about 4 hours now.... did the registry fix, yay, thanks guys, myadsl RULES
