So Takealot has cancelled my B315 order leaving me with a SIM card and no modem.

Takealot's definition of in stock apparently isn't. I have already fired off an email to Afrihost to inquire on your actual stock status at 8 this morning but no response yet.

The same goes for other ISP's that sell Rain and some local hardware suppliers that stocks Huawei devices.
