SKYPE for Symbian...

Does anyone know about Skype for Symbian? Specifically in my case the SE P990i...

Any good alternatives?

I did a search and all I see so far are promises that it was supposed to be released by the the end of 2006... but unless it pops up on the Skype download page in the next month... that is gonna be empty promises

Apparently there is a problem with the latency... the symbian phones have lower end processors 220 Mhz... and Skype will run better on processors around 400 Mhz
