Skype on Nokia N80!

The first company to launch a working solution for the N80 is EQO. www.eqo.com

I tried it and it works. Call quality was not very good, so I will try again when I have some time. I am using EDGE on CellC and not 3G - not sure if that makes a difference.

Program works as follows:
1. Download EQO onto your PC and install.
2. It will provide you with an SMS to your mobile - you need to download EQO on your movile and install.
3. You need to have Skype running and you need to be logged on.
4. You need to have EQO running on your PC.
5. You can then call Skype buddies and also use SkypeOut from you mobile.
 
does it work with the N91 aswell?

EDIT: nevermind, i see it does

EDIT2: so you must have skype credit for it to work, well that sucks :(

no reason why it shouldnt.

Thing is instead of the skype call actually going through your phone, it calls your contact from your computer and then also makes a SkypeOut call to your cellphone number (so it's like a normal phone call on your cellphone), and puts the two calls in a conference call.

What sucks is that you have to pay for the call to your cellphone aswell. :(
 
I dont see the point if you have to pay for the call to your cellphone??

No it doesnt work the same way, im not sure whey they support so few phones as yet
 
Nokia N80

Wouldnt it be nice if Nokia N80 would work with skype.

Can it be used as a WiFi IP Camera too????
