SMTP Server

Is there anyone who does mailing databases on this forum? I have a client that has a mailing database, but it seems some mail servers (like absa) block mail coming from certain smtp servers. (Like smtp.saix.co.za)
Which route should we take to send our mail. (about 5000 users on the list)

Well if you have 5000 people on a legitmate list then the best would be your own server at a decent colo (UUNet, SAIX, IS etc..) rather than relaying through an ISP server
