Well, he could be Afrihost clients like us who are using our own older router that is limited to 100mbps and never got any router from Afrihost.

Why would you use an ancient router when you could get a newer and faster one when signing up with them? I've never understood why people decline the router offer. Always good to have a spare.

Can't remember what they offered back in the ancient times (ADSL) when joined.

Well I said in my first post I am with RSAweb and that's how it worked with them. I don't have a problem with it. Giving clients that have 20/50/100mbs lines routers that can do just 100mbs, makes total business sense. Think Afribot just wanted to claim some smooth marketing after the many complaints.
