TheRodent, although I might agree with you there, I feel that if WBS/iBurst will stand up to the demand when they do release, we need a decent amount of people actually willing to test this system. I also feel WBS will let you cancel no problem if you feel the service degrading, and find that iburst (thus far) is a better option than Sentech and ADSL (especially for those not fitted with mini dslams or whatever like I am)
I'm paying 450 something for a connection that gets up to 100% signal (usually) and is fast and responsive, when things change, I'd probably stay with them anyway, because they treat me right as a customer, the don't ignore me (although shiela should learn to call people back when she says she will) and they always give me a straight answer when I ask a question re: if the system is slow or if a tower is down or not, none of the "um, i have to check with 2nd level support" k@k we're used to.
If iBurst can get 2000 users in their prelaunch phase and still maintain the speeds and decent pings I'm experiencing international (especially using remote desktop to connect to my servers internationally) it means the system is REALLY tried and tested and can sustain a decent amount of users. Not like sucktech, that, even though more than 50% of their consumer base has cancelled, still suffers from terribly slow speeds. WHERE IS THE CONTENTION RATIO NOW B!TCHES!!!!!!!
btb, you're an ADSL freak Rodent [
