SOHO all-in-one laser printer - your suggestions ?

Go for the Canon . I have had HP laser and injet and have converted to Canon inkjet and laser and have no problems.

The drawback with canon (I'm not sure if it's the same with other manufactuers), you can only print a certain amount of pages per printer, then it becomes unusable. My brother in law has leveled two small canons this way, they just tell you to throw it away. LOL!

i have the Pixma Ip2000. But even R100 for a cartridge (I assume it is not a generic?) is better than R500 plus for a Lexmark one!

Some feedback - got the above on rental for about R370-00 p.m., 12c per page printed. Bundled with Paperport 8.0.

Great machine, so far.
 
extra business in colour

Well people, I ditched my Brother Laser black and white printer as it was too expensive to run and it was of naff quality. I have got a colour ink-job one. I don't know if to get a monochrome or colour laser printer? Colour would look nicer on the business mail, but if it costs too much, I'd sooner have black and white as I will not get any extra business in colour. What is the cost of running a laser printer?
