Springbok Squad: End Year UK Tour

What can you attribute Rose's inclusion too. Incompetence or "criteria"?

I don't like rose but he has not been that bad in the curriecup and PDV said that he will pick guys who are on form so its not all that big a surprise... but where the fsck did mujati and chilliboy pop up from?

Quotas? Or they were good at under 21 or some other rubbish. Face it. We have a team and then a bunch of other people who need to go on tour. Basically you could have chosen the team from the Sharks, the Bulls and then add two players from wee pee (De Villiers and Burger) and one from the Cheetahs (Juan Smit) and you are done.

I have absolutely no idea why there would be a single player from the Lions but I guess the 20 or so supporters that they have expect to see someone at least.

Pity about Stefan but I guess they're building a team for the future and lets face facts, Stefan's future isn't likely to be a long one. He is by far the best full back in the country, and right now I would go as far as to say, one of the best in the world as well.

Mujati deserves his spot so long as there are quotas. He has been one of the better performing non-white players.

A whole cup of WTF for the Earl Rose and Chilliboy selections!!!!

Anyone know where BJ Botha is and why he was excluded from selection?

All in all, its a decent squad - not our strongest by a long shot, but a winning squad nonetheless...
