Static IP address :: Where to get one?

Yup, a VPN based static address is probably the way to go.

Basically your router (or server) will be a VPN client that connects to a VPN server on the internet via pptp / open VPN/ other

That VPN server will provide an internet facing (public) IP address to your router/server . You will port forward (in case of router ) any ports you need to within your Lan

Without knowing the details of your network config, I can't say much further. But I personally would have a seperate router sitting behind my ISP connected router doing this.

And another thing. Please patch your mikrotik firmware with updates, there are a lot of vulnerabilities that have been uncovered with mikrotik amongst others.
