Hi Guys

Sometime ago when they had the dotnet internet magazine, I think it is now called netplus, I recall that there was an ad there once for a surge protector
that protects your computer incase there is a instant power cut.

Do you know how much they are and where I can buy them

Thanks
DD

I think you're looking for a UPS. Prices increase depending on the length of time of backup power you need as well as the amount of devices you need to keep running. Generally most people only need 3xbackup (PC, monitor and printer/modem). They start from around R500 for 30 minutes of backup power.

Yip, haven't had a problem with them. Certainly more trustworthy than the likes of Digital Planet.

Basic rule of thumb: if a company doesn't have a bad name on this forum, then there's very little about them worth complaining about ;)
