Taking the War To Sentech HQ

erm, but I thought, as many times said by ProAsm, a task force has been assigned to bandwidth issues, and that it is being worked on. And considering a task force has been assigned, I'm sure all the top people know about this...
Wouldnt this make what youre doing kinda pointless ?

Erm ... that's probably why Dr Frankenstein is a character in a book/movie/song and where ever else he has appeared :)
But yeah I agree with the part that they dont inform us, so keep phoning :)
I'm in a state of peace watching my extremely low cellphone bill :)

my thought for the day:

<blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote">don't take no from anyone who hasn't got the authority to say yes...<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">

Good idea.

I called them on 011-6917000, and spoke to some people there (about 4 in total), being bounced from department to department. At least I made it clear that there is a problem.

I also asked who is in charge of the call centre, and asked to speak to them. I spoke to them, and told them that it is:
* A joke
* Full of untrained people
* Uninformed
* Unhelpful

I did this very diplomatically, and they said they would "look into it".
Translation: F off I am busy.

I think we should go to the papers. Anyone willing to write to the Star?

What about carte blanche and 3rd degree? Lets start spamming them so they can so many people are being stuffed around by sentech

The difference with Hellkom is they couldn't give a stuff...one hopes Sentech (having spent soo much on MW) will give a stuff...

the problem is that this forum represents only about 10% (if that) of the mywireless user base. All the other users are actually still phoning the helpdesk. I dont have the time or money to waste on calling the helpdesk but for the 90% of users out there, thats all they have. Perhaps getting the forum URL public should be first priority.. Anybody tried sending an email to [email protected] ?

Failing which maybe we should place an advert in the papers saying something along those lines. if we all chipped in 50 bucks maybe we could make it happen.

This would have two functions, firstly it would help other mywireless users unite with us in order to give sentech a kick up the a$$, secondly it would let Sentech know just how upset we are getting and how serious the problem is.

Just a thought!

Have you ever wondered if the top brass of Sentech ever uses myWireless themselves?
Would they have the same issues?

This is starting to sound like a corporate way of solving things (just throw money at it) [:)] but it seems to have worked for them..

rpm has just opened a bank account for myadsl; could be time for myadsl to evolve from just a forum (no disrespect intended) to some sort of 'action group'.

Well personally i'm all ready to join an action group. Is anyone keen to stage a 'meeting' at the fourways office park, we could deliver a signed petition to the CEO (i doubt we would actually get to see her). If we had to invite the press along maybe we could create some sort of public knowledge of our problems. On the other hand we could always torch a few cars, burn a few tyres, necklace a helpdesk swine, that sort of thing...

Comrades unite in mass-action!

/OFF TOPIC

HillBilly if you are new to the forum, how did you find out about it?

A friend told me about myadsl about a week ago; was discussing pros & cons of going for adsl or waiting for mywireless...

If we could only get on Carte Blanche.. the myadsl server would crash on the monday morning from the load. Its going to take quite a lot to get words or feedback from the decision makers at Sentech (ie. those at the top). Im sure ProAsm knows too well about this already. I dont think that CEO lady gives a flying f about how the service is working. She's just happy she keeps her job. Anyways.. she's always welcome to come post here (or elsewhere) in her official capacity and defend the company.
