excerpt ..........
Johannesburg - South African Nobel laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu has launched a searing indictment of the new rainbow nation, saying it was losing its moral bearings.

Tutu, who asked former deputy president Jacob Zuma to relinquish his bid for the country's top job after he admitted to having sex with a young HIV-positive woman, said South Africans were erring in their daily lives.

He said: "What has come over us? Perhaps we didn't realise just how apartheid has damaged us so that we seem to have lost our sense of right and wrong." .........

Now even blaming his own morals on Apartheid. Tsh! Tsh!

Just because he can’t DO IT anymore, he wants all of us to stay away from the ‘simple pleasures of life.......
He is crying because he let all that free nookie go by when he was younger. And by the way, apartheid se gat.

In A way I agree with the "preacher" cum "Political" cum "Devil in disguise" who so easily can shed fake tears. Apartheid did damage them, their brains or rather the little they had! Same as with the rest of Africa, There it was colonialism and Apartheid. As a prominent black member recently said in a BBC program. They let themselves into it, They allowed it and even after centuries they still stuck in the same groove. Choose not too get out of it willingly or unwillingly! as they cannot or will not uplift themselves and get out of this poverty cycle!

Tutu hits the nail right on its head.

He says exactly what all of us are saying.

Don't crucify him. This time he is reprimanding those who are acting as if humankind owns them everything.

Amen

You never know what to believe when he says anything. The other day he claimed the truth and reconciliation did not go far enough and added a lot of Anti rhetoric to it! He's on the fence not knowing where he wants to fall!

Tutu takes his position seriously. He makes some good points, especially with reference to Zuma. This guy's actually a decent ambassador for our country...

i think tutu has his head on right.

I must admit after the BBC insert i saw I may retract some of my remarks below. Maybe I was too biased due to his previous rhetoric's and he has seen the light or truth as it is and as such have the guts and power, as well as the International respect, to utter his fears and draw attention to it! Well done Tutu, just hope the other here will take note!
