I access my businesses' computers nationwide for admin/maintenance nationwide by Ultr@VNC (Viewer & Server) as it provides extra encryption. I recently upgraded from the old black box Telkom USB modem to the latest free on install wireless modem.
This uses the class 10.0.0.1 router and 10.0.0.1 local/private IPs.
Can I safely readdress the local IPs to 192.168.x.x (fixed) so I can access via dynamic public IP (updated)?
If so can this be done thru http://10.0.0.2 to get into the router/modem?

If my aunt had balls would she be my uncle?

You can use the class A private network addresses (10.x.x.x) as you currently are - it won't affect any dynamic IP services since that uses your public IP address assigned by your ISP when you connect.

However using a class C private network address (192.168.x.x) makes more sense since you're unlikely to have more than 65536 computers/devices on your network.
Class A private network addresses : 16777216 hosts
Class B private network addresses : 1048576 hosts
Class C private network addresses : 65536 hosts

Just change all the IPs on your network including the router to a class C private network address. Change the router's one first, then change your PC's address and then you'll be able to connect to the router again.

Billion at least have some brains and their modem/routers come configured with a class C private network address of 192.168.1.254
Show me one instance where 16 million users (class A) are going to share a single ADSL modem.
