So you are on the uncapped now? Good now your fight starts for the included poynting antenna which you are supposed to receive with the Uncapped sim and B315 router. :erm:

No worries; I'll do without the aerial for now. I just don't want them rocking up at my "other" address. Oh the scandal!

Also the uncapped simcard does work on Telkom LTE-A network so might be worth it to invest in a LTE-A router.

Got any recommendations for an LTE-A router? Would you recommend the B618?

LTE uncapped is still available in selected areas and one can still join if you use the address at those selected areas. Does not look like they are adding new areas or adding more spots to those already sold and instead phasing it out slowly until all the spots are gone pushing capped LTE and LIT packages instead.

The only problem is "obtaining" a proof of address for whatever address you select.

That is not an issue actually. Usually the installers should contact you and schedule an install date then you can direct them to the correct address if you want and in my case when they delivered for rica docs I gave them my correct address and never heard from then again and I'm 2 years into this contract.

Remember to update you B315 so you can easily switch between 1800MHz and 2300MHz without using the toolbox. Also you can check balance by sending a blank sms to 188 from the router.

I'm hoping to get my hands on a LTE-A router now.
