Following up on an order for a new ADSL line for a client, The following transpired:
Telkom no longer tests the line up to the point of installation before telling you you can have ADSL.
They will do the intallation, and then only tell you you can have ADSL.
Seems as if you will pay for the line from the day it was installed.
If you don't wont the Telkom modem, you will have to pay for the days until you can get your own modem.
As this is new, I would like to confirm before believing anybody from Telkom. I had tooo many different stories from tooo many people to believe a word from a Telkom employee unless it is signed and sealed.
