Here are a few facts about TelkomDSL that you proberly did not know about. (Please excuse my spelling as I am doing this in quite a hurry)
The following is taken from the Telkom Website :-

Telkom please remove this from your website. Even your website is starting to smell like rubbish.
DSL access is based on Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (DSL), a new modem technology that turns an ordinary telephone line into a multi-tasking access medium. Um Interesting I always thought ADSL stood for "Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line" not DSL.
"Capping
The South African Internet eXchange (SAIX) provides Internet accounts for DSL to Internet Service Providers(ISP’s) and Internet Providers(IP’s). These accounts have various capping and shapping protocols that govern the usage thereof. Before you subscribe to an Interent account powered by DSL please ensure that you are aware of the various rules that govern the accounts.

Quick question, what is "shapping" ?
So it would seem that some one has been updating this site, but did it rather quickly with many typos that can be manipulated. Please note that Telkom now offers a DSL service not an ADSL service to it's clients. What the difference is I do not know. What is for sure is that Telkom is confused, like Ivy, they say one thing and do another.
If Telkom does terminate the ADSL infrastructure, can its users sue them ? It's also very ironic to see.

Come on ICASA you have the power to change the future of this country, do something about it. DONT BACK DOWN.
We as forum members need to dig up as much dirt on TelkomDSL as we can ,like the above quotes from Telkom's website. It will shed doubt on weather Telkom knows even what they are talking about.
