Wondering if any one can help me
we are currently running adsl lines
with about 15 - 30 people connecting remotely
to the terminal server

The thing is every second day or so i have a problem
where sum people are working and others are just unable
to connect
It just gives server unreacheble error asif the server is not even on the
network
and the other people that are connected if they dissconnect
and try to get back in they have the same error
its almost asif it doesnt want to reestablish the remote connection
the server is pingable from all the remote pc's its just the rempote desktop connection that doesnt want to work

the only solution i have so far is to reset the server as i looked at my services
and everything seems to be fine and after the reset its fine everybody can get back up again
any idea how i can completely avoid this or not have to restart the server
everytime
thnx

Is the server using a ip address reachable from the outside?
Or do you have a router "in between" that does a port forward?

Also, next time, just try disabling and re enabling the NIC - that will force it to "rebuild" - if that solves the problem, we can look at the individual things a bit closer.

well all the people have vpn's setup
i have about 10 people at one site using vpn to the main server
so all the ip addresses are internal

I assume you have re-established the VPNs and that also does not solve the problem?

ya all the vpn's are reestablished and up and running and everyone
working 100% the only prob right now is i dont want it to happen again
and i dont want to reset the server everytime it does happen

its just like every second day

thnx
