Bluecloudpbx.com is not a Scam. We are still busy with site integration to our VoIP.bluecloudpbx.com CRM. We set this up for our existing clients to have the option of a hosted/cloud based pbx so that they can try it compared to their on-site pbxs. We even allocated free Sip Accounts with R2 free airtime to test the voice quality. Our VoIP.bluecloudpbx.com is a WHCMS site created by the country's best development team and is fully functional with advanced provisioning, billing and payment gateways.
I do apologize for the "website" not the "cloud server" , but if you can read clearly, my reference was to VoIP.bluecloudpbx.com and not to the unfinished website. Bear in mind that the member wanted to try for FREE, I knew our web wasn't ready BUT our Cloud was fully operational and he could get a call made for FREE. I was only trying to help!
And lastly, It is very clearly stated big and bold on the top of our HomePage: " site under construction". Also it is so clear to see that it is a template based web design, cos of the Latin and as you pasted the default address template. My design team probably slapped that on from Artisteer or Web X template. Anyone who knows enough about IT would have picked that up.
Remember I was only trying to help, and maybe if you go look at VoIP.bluecloudpbx.com(don't type www. At the beginning), you will see that it was a good gesture for what he wanted to do, So don't be a "douche" and go pick on something you know about.

I never saw it as a scam.

However, I'm reluctant to spend time trying it out if it seems so incomplete.

Having said that, I feel there's a segment of the market that's not being serviced by the established companies: Making it easy for individuals and small businesses to port their landlines to SIP over LTE.
 
Did some research on low cost consumer voip pricing. This is monthly subscription / local rates / mobile rates (per minute):
Switch Telecom / Snowball: R49 / 27c / 49c
Nexus: R25 / 26c / 53c
Vox: R25 / 28c / 87c
MWEB: R0 / 31c / 74c
TelFree: R0 / 30c / 69c

I plotted the total costs in Excel based on how many minutes you talk local vs mobile. Assuming 75% mobile calls, you'd need to talk at least 200 minutes for Nexus to work out cheaper than MWEB. After closer to 600 minutes, Switchtel is the most cost effective. Vox one of the most expensive rates.

Doesn't take into account other account features available / quality of service. But for most part, you just want to be able to call someone.
 
Note that Vox credits you for incoming calls. It's approximately R0.10 per minute, so it's almost not worth the effort.
 
I did not use Mweb much because they don't port numbers. But I did port to Vox, which uses very similar technology. And I very satisfied with the call quality.

Note that I'm using it with a LTE router (B593). Where I placed it, it often prefers 3G over 4G. On a few calls, the ping times spike and I struggle to hear the other person. So I would not recommend VoIP over 3G for people who talk on the phone a lot. But for my purposes it's good enough and certainly better than a cellphone call.
