The ANC is robbing about 10 of these every week. Why is it not a big deal?

Banks, insurers and security firms all ok with the current arrangement?

I see the vehicles are sitting very low to the ground now, probably fighting with the previously high centre of gravity that caused them to topple over.

But the guards are still sitting ducks because the response is almost non existent once they are cornered, you would think big companies like Fidelity would have adequate air support for their ground crews.

Three suspected CIT robbers dead in Mabopane highway shootout with police​


Three suspected cash‑in‑transit (CIT) robbers have been shot dead, and a fourth arrested, after a fierce gun battle with police in Gauteng.

The gun battle occurred on the R80 highway in Mabopane on Monday, after which officers recovered high‑powered firearms and foiled an alleged robbery plot.

Police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi said a multidisciplinary team comprising the South African Police Service (Saps) Tactical Response Team, Anti-Gang Unit, Gauteng Traffic Airwing, and private security was following up on intelligence about suspects allegedly planning a robbery.
