i can see it now: anchors sues Gupta's for deformation of character not providing proper training joined by MultiChoice suing them for contract breach (of some kind..we'll get to that) and then Zuma distances himself from them and everybody goes broke and gets DEPORTED! MWHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! :twisted:
 
Methinks it's actually the "behind the scenes" guys that are royally screwing things over. Broken cues, broken teleprompters, broken satellite feeds, broken video bites...

That, or this is an elaborate viral marketing scheme and come Monday all will be magically transformed into a professional setup *fixes tinfoil hat*.

Yeah, this campaign of theirs which basically says "we don't use professionals, we use normal people like you to bring you the news" is not working out exactly how I think they planned it. It's a great idea but we people don't like watching people embarrassing themselves on TV like that (not on a news channel anyway). Let's hope they get some pros or these "normal" guys catch on quick.

Somebody at work just told me how they messed up the sports report. Grand Prix was read as Grand "Pricks" and Roger De Sa's name was read as Roger De "S" "A".

Shameful.
 
I see all the videos have been taken down from Youtube, are they hosted anywhere else ?

ANN7 is the most laughable thing to ever air on DSTV. Without question.

I can't help but think all of the awkwardness could be avoided if they just pre-read some of the info they were reading, it's obvious they are seeing these words and names for the first time ever.

Real news readers make you forget you're actually just watching someone read...
