I was just joking, of course, but to be serious, I held a watch to my ear and counted the seconds for how long it takes to decode and display files from the 50D, 40D and K100D Super. The K100D Super's 6MP files all open in 3 seconds or less. The 40D are all in the 4.5 second or less range. The 50D files take up to 8 seconds, but mostly 6-7 seconds.
