the real driving simulator

which is the best driving simulator on pc.because i have played all the grand turismos except the gt4 which ill get at the end of the month.but i want to try a pc drivin game,no nfs2 please it sucks big time ,its to easy.

albeit a bit arcade like, pro race driver (in USA it's call Toca Race Driver, and in Germany it's call DTM Race Driver) is good. If you want more realism, F1 Challange 99-02 is excellant.
GTR is supposed to be excellant as well.

Try GTR. It is the most realistic racing sim ever.

It is based on the FIA GT championship so the cars are Ferrari 550's, 360's, Porsche GT3's, Dodge Vipers and Stuff.

The tracks include Spa, Monza, Donnington, Barcelona, Brno, Enna, Estoril and a whole bunch of extras by other people like Kyalami and the Nordschleife.

Depends what *you* mean by best driving simulator. Your comments on what sucked are also a bit vague, as in "no reasons why".

The following is good examples of what should be looked at :
Track Racing : GTR (high realism, fun factor directly related to driving ability )
Rally : Richard Burns Rally (high realism, fast not always good)
Arcade : NFSU 2 (reality is a myth, but a lot of fun)

(Nascar Racing : never been a NasCar fan, so I'll not comment on that)

BTW, are you using wheel and pedals when playing the PC games ?

What Luke said. Also if you can wait for a few weeks, GTLegends is the next best track racer coming soon. However, this games strips all the "luxuries" of modern racers.

Both games are for people who eat engine grease with their chips, but are very scalable to accomodate the newbies aswell.

toca race driver 2 like fantom said is awesome and graphics is awesome the cars are modelled amazingly

and if you got adsl you can race online but with a 400 ping dunno how many times you would crash but anyhow

Almost true. The best one according to me is Grand Prix Legends which even though is old, nothing beats it. Then GTR.
