"Too many redirects"

Oh here we go again. I can't open Google - the reason is that it redirects to the say "www.google.com" then "www.google.com:80" over and over again until Safari gives up. It doesn't do this on anything except iBurst.

That happens from time to time it seems. I've had that problem a few times now. It usually helps when you reboot your modem or just wait it out. Shouldn't take too long.

Does it do it on anything other than Safari?

EDIT: Okay apparently it's a problem with iBurst then, probably not the browser. :/

Also getting it now.....google.co.za and google.com both time out after countless redirects on Opera.

Yep, I get random bouts of 'em in Firefox too; usually they go away after a few attempts 'n normal access returns.

On my side though, it seems to be only Opera and IE7. Firefox loads all Google pages. It's strange, that thing they call iBurst.....

Same prob here on FF at times.
I think IE is the only browser that doesn't get this problem when it occurs.
I thougth I was getting hijacked, but looking like something else now.

It's one of those iBurst self-jacking phenomenons.
