Okay, so the iburst techie came to visit me, and as I suspect was unable to assist me. He did inform me that if I moved my fixed structure antenna to the other side of the house, I "might" not have the problem.

As this information is completely useless to me, I am back here.

Shaun: Is there a way for the towers to 'ban' or 'block' a UTD modem? So that I can have a stable connection. I am now hopping between towers every 5 min.

No I cant move the antenna, it is seriously a fixed structure with bolted in guide wires and alles. And I also cant reach the top to put tinfoil around it :(

Right now I am thinking of taking this much further. Ive basically had it. I am in a good signal area with a large fixed based antenna, and I am not getting what I am paying for. The problem lies with Iburst and its equipment.

No and if there was a way he wouldn't know or have the time to find out.

You probably stand a better chance contacting kyrocera with that, but yip I agree you have almost no chance of getting a decent usefull response.

If it was working and now is not ... (I assume this is tha case) wbs should be able to adjust the basestation antennas for you.

Since that will probably disadvantage more ppl than are currently disadvantaged they will probably not even consider this.

So your only option is to move the arial (preferably at their expense [which will probably require a lawyer] )

Alternatively sell your equiptment (if you can find a buyer) and change to fixed line broadband ie hellkom.
