Truck filled with ammo found

Durban - Boxes containing 210 000 rounds of ammunition were found in the city's Springfield Park area on Friday, KwaZulu-Natal police said.

"Police have found a truck full of different types of ammunition put in boxes," said spokesperson Phindile Radebe.

"Four people have been arrested after a tip off," she said.

Radebe said the arrested men had put bicycles of top of the boxes of ammunition, which included shotgun ammunition.

The four people arrested were expected to appear at the Durban Magistrate's Court on Monday.
