I also have a concrete roof and there is no way I can lay down trunking. (Wife will not be happy)
All I want to know is what the range of the unit will be if I put it next to my router. 10 metres or 50 metres? There must be people who have used it that can attest to the range in a normal residential house.

One of these ap's could not cover a room 13m away (The long range one, UAP-LR), had to add a second one for the main bedroom. Now have to add a 3rd to cover the braai room, 10m away from the first AP. Not going to do that, going to get something else. Fed up with these lol. Once they need to go through one wall it's useless, but that's just my experience with them.
I had a Asus n66u that covered the whole house, probably going to get another Asus. Expensive but worth it as the speeds are way way way faster as well. Max copy speed I get wile connecting to the UAP-LR is 3.6MB/s from 10m away, Asus was 15MB/s at that distance.
Also found no difference between distance with the UAP and UAP-LR.
