I sent in my s2 because it wouldn't turn on. I had the same firmware on it that you do and they said nothing. Just replaced the pcb and wiped the phone.

Btw. It took them 4 days to repair it. Not bad from MTN.

you can use fus downloader to get the mtn software from the kies server.It is it there southafrica xfm which is the mtn firmware

Dude Google 'Check Fus', go to the site and download the PC app, then use the presets to chose the I9100, you'll be able to download the latest lies firmware for your phone, it will decrypt the zip, extract it, and flash with Odin

Not to detract from OP. Is the SA firmware XFA also for CellC as the firmware is XFC on my CellC Phone - Still stock 2.3.4
