LOL true... and everyone hated it. Funny though.. there was a Discussion the other day where somebody was moaning on these forums about the HUGE downloads from WoW and asked why Blizz doesn't just make smaller patches everyday... UO was why

yep it was me. with small patches everyday you dont get DOWNTIME and you can still PLAY the game while its being patched, kinda like Guild Wars...

And with the better bandwidth smaller patches are done within 5 minutes unlike the hog files that WoW needs everytime some new feature is added 50% of the people wont even get to in the game. Need i say more?

Yeah.. you see the idea of small patches works well.. Until you miss a month of patches. Also its hard to try release small patches when patch X, needs Patch Y+Z to work and on its own Patch X creates exploit G, that needs patch W to fix.. and and and.. well you get the idea

ROFLOL.. true.. but at least they say your old Chars and all equipment should still be there... Wonder if my tower is still standing?.. Or if I can buy my account back

UO is still my fav online game - even with the old code, old mechanics and l337 dudes If only I could play with my dreadful ping, I'd be back at the drop of a hat. Pity the game did not get a code revamp to make it more latency friendly. Playing in Felucca with a 380+ms ping was just not productive...
