Upgrading from 2 to 4 GIG's RAM?

Be very careful with adobe photoshop they love to make you download the 300 meg updates without asking you.

I just download it and get it out the way.

Yeah I know, when I installed CS3 the other day It started downloading a 580 MB update, I almost Sh%$ myself lol.....I will dl it when I am capped...Busy dl'ing all my windows updates, cap shmap who cares..I will buy more ;) :D
 
Just finished running windows update, updates totalled 520 MB's......Now I restarted my PC and it says "updates are available for your computer" and there is now a another 400MB's of updates available....Is this right or did something go wrong?
 
Only download the updates that microsoft ticks, i am not sure hey i have alot of bandwidth so losing 1 or 2 gigs i never noticed really.

It could be what with sp1 and all the other updates since. Otherwise though grim how are you finding vista 64? liking not liking?

Yeah only Dl the ticked ones, the others are normally rubbish...Will download the rest and see..

I am loving it! It is solid and fast, couldn't ask for more! best move I made ;)
 
Yeah if you're running Vista Ultimate, there's a lot of extra rubbish it gives you the option on downloading. Really glad you're enjoying your machine!

I installed my additional 4GB ram last night. 6GB total now and all I can say is WOW!! Photoshop runs like a dream. Even my huge psd's are a dream to work with
