US Far Right - "trawling for assassins"

Every U.S president has his life threatened. A simple google search will show this. My link above shows dubya had his fair share. In fact almost every U.S president in the last few decades has had attempts to assassinate them. Some have in fact died( again google is your friend).

True, but those were usually people with stupid agendas acting on their own or within a narrow cell. These are people who are using bumper stickers to call for the death of their own president. And it sounds like you approve. How can you even compare the two?

Now if he is assassinated it would be incredibly ironic given his "family friend" is a domestic terrorist who dedicated his terrorist org's manifesto to Sirhan Sirhan who if you don't know assassinated Robert F. Kennedy. At the time he was seeking the Democratic nomination for President.....

Yes, because I'm sure there's no connection between the Bush's and the Saudis.

"Gonna see a bunch a honkies die" in rioting when Obama is taken out.

The LA riots will pale in comparison...

Actually, he's the best thing that could have happened to the world. His election has given hope and inspiration to billions.

Mandela is nothing compared to the dreams that were awakened by Obama's election.

I hope he serves his term and then has a full life with his family.

That said, the title of the thread and the article, reminds one of the anc/sacp songs and statements...except that they are advocating genocide, rather than assassination...

Wonder if it ever crossed their minds that every time they say these things, another South African leaves...and starts plotting their genocide from afar...

No use distancing yourself from a group and saying they have their own agenda when it suits you then generalizing and calling everyone with a bumper sticker 'right wing'. It looks like and uneducated thing to do, just my 5c. You get kooks on every side of the fence. Just be thankful you dont suffer from seroius depression. Talking politics too much feeds the beast IMO. When will we stop idolizing people like they are the answer to the worlds problems when in fact they are public servants with a job to do like everyone else... then hold them accountable instead of defending their every move.

And I guess I'm just expressing an opinion - not having a go at you... I mean you could agree with what I said but it's OK if you have a different opinon. People polarize and generalize too much IMO.

The same happens to other presidents not just Obama. The problem here is people like you only have a problem with it when it's somebody you support. Where was the outrage when the others suffered the same fate???

and that has revelance to this thread
