It’s honestly a joke. The Dems LOVED Trump, and so did the MSM. Hell, even Hillary sang his praises. Everyone on The View welcomed him with a hug and a kiss. And then he decided to run for president, and they all instantly turned on him. It was like someone flicked a light switch.
Same thing with Elon: everyone was calling him Climate Jesus because of what he was doing with Tesla, massive celebrity endorsement, etc. And then he bought their echo chamber.
