V3 RAZR Master Key

Hope this is the correct place.

My friend has a V3 RAZR. Someone was so smart as to put a lock code unto his phone. I'm talking about the code that locks some of the menus. Nobody seems to know what the code is and the shop wants to charge him R300 to unlock it.

Does anybody here know what the mster key for the phone is?

There is no master code, You need to connect it to a PC via a cable and use software to unlock it. Now i can get hold of the software i just need the cable.

Motorola phones are some of the hardest to crack/unlock.Try searching for "online unlocking".The pc progs that claims to work with Moto are very unreliable and can damage your phone.Mobiledit and Phone tools can't do it.

Afaik the best way for you now is to look online for a tool to flash your phone.I'm not sure but i think "pk2man" will do the trick.Just remember if you flash you phone you lose everything on your sim so backup with mobiledit or PT.If you're gonna do it you might as well mod it to record videne more thing,the razr works better via bluetooth than usb,something about the driver.

I'm no pro with this,rather check out www.howardforums.com.They got tons of info about this thing.

Try call your service provider with all relevant details.Overseas they give you the master reset code,but i don't know about here.
