Vat so Gibson!

Hey finally, the government actually passed a motion that I agree with...

Poor Gibson, this one really did bite him in the @ss didn't it...

Did you know...that the house is actually for Mrs Mbeki, Mbeki and his missus cant stand eachother anymore...so the house is actually hers...

"who attempted to enter the private property", so do we have evidence of any of this?

And some ANC lackey said "he went there without permission", its a ****ing free country and if I want to go down to the street where Thabo lives and walk past there I dont need no permission slip and neither should Gibson...

  • He didn't enter the property.
  • He spoke to the builder who gave him some information about the property. (The cost of the land is separate from the value published for the house.)
  • Gibson is an experienced property evaluator, so he had a special interest in finding out whether the property was worth 22m.
  • How was he invading El Presidente's privacy by looking at a house from the street?
  • Why is the house in his wife's name - could this be how they kept it secret??

And, as far as I know, big chief is not living there yet - they're busy building it?

supersunbird : Noone said he was in violation of the letter of the law. He was in violation of the spirit of the law.
You and Mr Gibson are two completely different people with different rules that apply. When you become a MP, then you can start comparing yourselves

After all that our President has been through in his life and the sacrifices he made for our country and our freedom's, this is the way he is rewarded. I am appaled by this and agree with the cabinet. He should be given a home 10 times that amount!

Mbeki was not in South Africa for most of the 'struggle' - he was sent to England to study.

That is why when Mbeki was elected president, Madiba openly said that Mbeki wasn't his choice - Cyril Ramaphosa was.
