When you apply for the card you are told to have your original ID Book, Payslip, proof of residence and also copies thereof ready for the courier company, who will collect and check it.

It reminds me a lot of the manner in which the old 20Twenty operated - received your card in a nice plastic ball and the courier scanning your ID book.

Also applied yesterday and was also told about the 3-5 day waiting period. Also still waiting for a call from the courier company.

I peronally think that the printing of the cards will only be done by Thursday, for those who applied yesterday. The cards might only be delivered by next week I would think.

what documents do they require for the online applciation? I suppose you have to fax (or maybe upload?) a copy of your ID and payslip? What else?

no, when u get to the final stage of yr application, it says:

Expect a call from our courier company to arrange delivery of your card at home or work.

Please have a copy of your
-RSA bar-coded ID
-payslip
-the RSA bar-code ID of the secondary cardholder(if you chose that option), and
-proof of residence/rates/other bills ready for FICA - we need to check that you are who you say you are!
