Vista Aero Skin

Hi guys,
One of my friends got himself a laptop thats running vista basic. He is looking for the Vista Aero skin but its not on the Basic version. Does some one know if you can just copy the skin in there or if there is some way to get vista Aero skin working on vista basic?

Vista Basic doesn't have the Aero skin. I don't think you could use the same Vista transformation pack as on XP.. so he might be stuck.

He could upgrade his version of Vista with the Anytime upgrade thing, Home Basic is pretty basic..

ahha You can enable Vista Aero Glass under Vista Basic.

Pretty stupid of Microsoft, I wonder how many other features that Home Basic is lacking you can just turn on .
