What? This is really child abuse.My son of 13 years started out with C# and a few tutorials a few weeks back - a few applications later he understood the concepts of programming well enough that he was able to move onto a microchip program (using MPLab) and make changes to the program flow. I know Java well enough to program with it, but I have to admit the ease that it took to get him up and running with C# was phenomenal. I doubt I could have done the same with Java, to be honest.

I'm sure he hated computers before, but you forced it down his throat. He probably wants to have a simple job, like being a gynecologist.He's preparing for a science project for next year's school fair. Sounds fair to me.
