Hi there

It seems to me that my new 128K VM sim is slowing my machine down? I swopped to the MTN sim and it seems fine again. This is using a Huawei E620 card on a Venters XP, dual core, machine with 1 gig of RAM and little else running. The machine is slower, hesitant, and rather like a 10 year old PC. What gives? Anyone else with these symtoms?

Good day Sir!

Your not the first to experience this kind problems, we haven't found the solution yet, but there is way. If your system is running 1g of ram & over 64mb VGA/AGP/PCI card on Windows, you will experience this sort of problem, Temp solution is to lower your Graphics the min is 1,5mb - max 64mb. Make sure after you lower your

graphics' you repair/renew you operation system.

That seems to make so sense at all.Why would the amount of RAM allocated to video in any way interact with the sims in a datacard? Please explain.(looking over my shoulder for Leon Schuster)

Sir!
There is defferance berween 16,32,64,128 & 256k, as you may know 128 requires 27,076k - 33,700k of your ram.

Where does the 82 % number come from?

As i have mentioned earlier, we haven't got a solution to this problem. We are giving our customers a temporary solution to this problem with our new 128/256k sims.

If you insert one of our sims to your data connect card, and your machine slows down, restart, hanging/errors, we strongly recommed that you repair your software/reinstall.

What a stupid solution to a factory problem, please don't fall for this pathetic advice Wynsam, even if you are desperate ;)

I am keen to get it working. But i do have half a brain. Thats why I keep asking the questions. Give a stupid man enough rope and he hangs himself. I think VMA did exactly that.

Well...

If he's really inside Vm like he says he is in his location... then methinks its no longer V:D
