VNC / port forwarding

Hi,

I've got one of the older telkom ADSL routers ( Chipset:Alcatel MTK-20150). I've tried setting up port forwarding for VNC, but VNC client keeps telling me it cant connect. Any one successfully done this on the older telkom adsl router?

Agreed, there are many gotchas with VNC and routers, all solvable. Post your exact situation and we can try and help. At the least we need,

1) What OS VNC Server running on?
2) Where are you connecting from
3) Can you connect from a local client to the local server?
