Vodacom HSDPA datacard

Can anyone confirm that the HSDPA card supplied by vodacom is network locked.? If so is there anyway of getting it to work with other sim cards.
I understand the fastlink e620 from MTN is not network locked ?

If it is Network locked, it will be hardware-locked too.. Meaning... no way of unlocking it for use on other Network Providers

I've only tested the Novatel and Option HSDPA card with the yellow network.
