Why when vodacom brand there phones with that stupid branding do they mess with the functions of the phone.

Why cant they just leave a phone as it should be.....

Why cant they just leave a phone as it should be.....

VodaFOne brands them, they stuff up all the phones!! It sucks!!
It even limits them because Vodafone chooses a particular colour and brands that one, so if eg: SE K610 only comes in black coz they Voda branded and they cant sell the Pink or Blue ones.

O well.

But why the hell do they mess with the functions on the phones.

Simple equation....

Vodacom branding = Vodacom x Monopoly
...divide by vodacom

Therefore...

branding = monopoly

....TELKOM is the monopoly

Therefore ...

branding = Telkom

...Vodacom do the branding

THEREFORE...

VODACOM = TELKOM..

Yeah,Branded fones suck.
But you can flash it with a standard rom.

At least we are not in the USA, if you think that is bad, check out what their sp's are doing

you should be given an option to have your phone flashed back to how its supposed to be.
