warcraft 3 frozen throne

Good day Peoples...

i could use some of your expertise pleaseeeeeeee... i downloaded (i know its wrong) warcraft 3 frozen throne, it was a .rar folder. i cannot install the game. i can double click icon and it launches. my problem is the version i downloaded is 1.21 which wont let me play the new maps. i also cannot update the version. i have all the patches but it wont work. i dont play online, most the campaign and the AI maps. how can i get this to update?

wont the patches work cause the game is not installed? do i need reign of chaos installed?

i have tried everything to get game installed.. can anyone please help?
