Me too. Preordered, Got burnt so badly that I have sworn off Ubisoft ever since.
The game will have to wow everybody for me to consider going through the hassle of pirating it.

WD1 was not great, but it was not bad either.
It was a new concept an we should have known its not going to blow everybody out of the water, the story was dull I will agree but the hacking was a bit of a relief of the normal tried and tested.
I would say they have a good foundation to work from they just need to perfect it now.
If you look at AC1 it was great that you could have scaled any wall but the game it self was stiff from there on it got better with the time and had a few mishaps on the way as in AC3
